Gadsden authorities are still investigating an alleged attack on a woman – reportedly perpetrated by an acquaintance of the victim on Monday night.
Shortly after 11:00pm police were dispatched to the Crown Service Station on East Broad, where they met up with the 46 year old victim.
The woman stated she’d been cut on the face by a box blade knife – after she and another female, had become involved in an altercation inside the store; that fight soon spilled out into the parking lot where the victim was cut.
The offender, reportedly 32 years of age, fled the scene and is still being sought by investigators.
The complainant was treated on the scene by medics – and then transported to Gadsden Regional for stitches.
