What better place to pick a fight than a fast-food restaurant – where the only thing faster than the service was the rate that tempers flared.

According to incident reports at the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were dispatched to a report of a fight in progress, at the Summerville McDonald’s last Friday night – upon arrival, they were told by 39 year old Jennifer Michelle Lesperance that she’d gotten into a physical con-frontation with her daughter over rent money.

The daughter claimed her mother had struck her in the face, and pushed her down near the drive-thru window outside the restaurant – with the story apparently being confirmed by witnesses; the report listed the daughter as having suffered a busted lip and “red marks” around her neck.

Her mother was placed under arrest, and was charged with disorderly conduct in connection with the incident.
