An investigation by Fort Payne Police and the Dekalb County Drug Task Force has resulted in the arrest of several individuals on drug charges.
On Wednesday, agents received a tip from a concerned citizen that a lot of activity was taking place at 1310 Forest Ave NW apartment 63.
Officers were allowed inside the residence on a consensual search for illegal items. Spice a synthetic drug and drug paraphernalia were found inside the residence.
Outside the residence in a vehicle a meth lab was also recovered.
Those arrested and charged included Danny Ryan Albright, age 25 of Fort Payne, Lisa Lynn Lanier, age 27 of Fort Payne, and Vanessa Leann Bowman, age 24 of Flat Rock.
They were charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Savannah Michael Pinegar, age 19 of Fort Payne, was charged with Possession of Controlled Substance (Spice) and Drug Paraphernalia.
Sarah Elizabeth Mayo, age 27 of Fort Payne, was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and a Warrant for Theft of Property.
Byron Trey Peppers, age 21 of Fort Payne, was charged with two counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Warrant for Driving while Suspended.
Michael Shane Griffin, age 38 of Fort Payne, was charged with three counts of Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and a Warrant for Defrauding Secured Creditors.
Levi Derek Johnson, age 29 of Rainsville, was arrested at the residence on a Warrant for Harassment.
All arrestees have been transferred to the Dekalb County Sheriff’s Office to await bond.
