The Fair Is Returning To Chattooga County

The county fair will be coming back to Chattooga County Aug. 21-24 – fair Committee Members Rebecca Thomas and Jimmy Holbrook were guest in the WEIS Studios on Monday morning to talk about the plans for the upcoming event.

Peachtree Rides, a Dunwoody-based company in operation since 1972, will provide amusement rides, games and food concessions – Jimmy Holbrook talks more about some of the attractions at the fair.

The fair will be held near the Chattooga County Agricultural Building on Bolling Road.  It will include the rides, concessions and games provided by Peachtree Rides and a lot of other locally-produced activities including agricultural exhibits and contests, educational exhibits, livestock and commercial and local vendors.

The Chattooga Agricultural County Fair will also feature a stellar line-up of entertainment throughout the weekend – which will include Chris Jansen on Thursday night, the finale of the Battle Of The Bands Competition and Fireworks on Friday night, The Kentucky Headhunters will take the Coca-Cola Stage on Saturday night, Sunday night will feature one of the most premiere Gospel Bluegrass Bands around – Doyle Lawson & Quick Silver.
