Several storage units at the Little River Marina Boat Storage facility in Cedar Bluff were damaged by fire overnight on Saturday.
We spoke to Little River Marina Owner Bill Hamlin on Sunday morning and he told us that there were a total of 10 units, 3 boats and numerous items of personal property that was destroyed in the fire.
Hamlin said that it appears a boat caught on fire, which started the blaze.
Fire Department units from Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville, Centre, Tuckers Chapel and Broomtown responded to the scene. Floyd EMS Medics were also called to the scene as a precautionary measure. No injuries were reported.
