Actor Gene Hackman, his wife, and their dog were discovered dead in their home this morning in Santa Fe County New Mexico. While no cause of death has been determined as of this time, officials say the deaths are not suspected to be caused by foul play.
Hackman was 95 years old. His wife, Betsy Arakawa was 64.

Hackman was an incredibly versatile and decorated actor, winning many prestigious awards. The Academy Award winners death comes just before this years Academy Awards. Many consider Hackman, as one of the greatest actors of the 20th Century.
Hackman was born in 1930, and when he was 16, he lied about his age to join the United States Marines. He became a field radio operator, and then as a broadcast journalist. Hackman was known for his gruff voice, which aided him when playing a villainous role, but he could also turn that off and play a likable character as well.
The deaths remain under investigation at this time.
