Guntersville Woman Facing Capital Murder Charge

A 24 year old Guntersville woman stands charged with capital murder, in connection with the shooting deaths of two teenagers last year.

Morgan Young has also been charged with murder, two counts – and with first degree conspiracy to commit robbery.   She is being held in the Marshall County Jail without bond.

Those charges come in the wake of the shooting on September 23rd last year (2021),  of Enrique Fernando Rodriguez Alvardo, age 17, and Elias Gaspar Escobar Lopez, age 19 of Boaz, who were shot to death in the parking lot of the Guntersville Taco Bell.  Kevon Yenovi Williams, 24, of Grayson, Georgia was also arrested that evening and is charged with murder.  Williams was also hospitalized after the incident.  A lawyer for Williams contended in court documents that he acted in self defense.

We’ll continue to follow this story as it unfolds.
